Adopt-A-School Program Meeting Updated
The Hawaii Jaycees will be having a 1st Annual Adopt-A-School Program meeting next week Wednesday, August 27, 6:00PM. This will be a perfect time to have our questions about the program and about a particular school answered. There will be food, fun, and activities.

On The Nines
The Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce is hosting an event to close out the summer, On the Nines. It will be on September 9, or 9/9. The night will feature free pupus for the first hour, live music and a DJ, raffles, and cocktails. Tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the door. Three Outstanding Young Persons
The Hawaii Junior Chamber annually selects and honors Three Outstanding Young Persons from Hawaii. Each honoree will be recognized in our community and is awarded a “Touching Hands” plaque symbolic of their work to challenge, motivate, and inspire Hawaii's youth. The most outstanding honoree's resume will then be judged for the Ten Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA) by the U.S.J.C.C.All applications must be postmarked by August 15, 2008.
