Volunteers are needed for an Adopt-a-Platoon Project called the Mahalo Operations Alliance IV. This community project is simply a way we can say thanks and show some support for our troops in Iraq. The idea is to secure a list of needs i.e., bacteria hand wipes, lotions, lip balm, bug repellent, beef jerky, dried fruit, car magazines, etc., for a unit in Iraq. Then goods are purchased and shipped to them.

2008 Filipino Fiesta

CONGRATULATION to all those who were actively involved in the Annual Filipino Fiesta & Parade. Despite encountering some difficulties at the planning stage, the fiesta turned out to be very successful. MY BEST SALUTE to Marilyn Jacobe, Claire Bello, JR Aquino and Christine Fe Benito. It was really awesome to see these people work at their best to ensure the fiesta will be a sure success. Although I had few disappointments,I am still greatly satisfied with the outcome of the fiesta. I hope the event INSPIRED new members to be more actively involve in the Filipino community.
