Please join us at Waialua High & Intermediate School on the North Shore; the school which our chapter has adopted this year for the statewide Adopt-A-School Day project.  Come out and show your support to Hawaii's Keiki as we help to improve their campus grounds.

We will be painting two (2) school buildings as well as some light landscaping project.  Please wear your painting gear and bring your rollers and paintbrushes as we help beautify this school.

For over 50 years, the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii positively impacted the lives of our members and local community through our projects, workshops, and other hosted events. In its third year, the 2010 Adopt-a-School Program is another effort to impact the future of our islands, and benefit our local educational system.

If you haven't experienced Relay for Life, it will be an experience that will move you.  Let's support American Cancer Society.  Let's honor and support those who are battling cancer, those who are survivors, and let us not forget those who past.  If you are interested in making a monetary donation to Relay for Life, you many do so that night.  Your donation will help in cancer research as well as help those who have cancer.  You may either donate under your name, your business, or the Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Every step that we take together begins to count! Please join us as we make our rounds with Lanakila Meels on Wheels. As volunteers we help serve over 4,000 Oahu residents annually with programs that build life skills. Please take this great opportunity to continue meal service for every senior in the program! :-)

The Honolulu Filipino Jaycee in coordination with several Filipino Organizations will be assisting the Filipino Community Center for a FUND Drive and a Telethon to assist the victims of Typoon Ondong that hit Philippines recently. There will be several collection sites throughout the island of Oahu; Kapolei, Ewa Beach, Wahiawa, Pearl City, Waipahu, Kalihi and Ala Moana.

 The Honolulu Filipino Jaycee, in its second year is a proud participant in the 2nd Annual Adopt-A-School Day project hosted by the Ala Moana Jaycee. This year, our Adopt-A-School project will be hosting a panel discussion and workshops on resume building, marketing yourself and career planning for grade 9-12 high school students with English as Second Language (ESL). 17th Annual Filipino Fiesta

The 17th Annual Filipino Fiesta, the foremost and largest event in the Filipino community in Hawaii, is going to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009. This year Filipino Fiesta will feature three colorful events; the Parade from Fort DeRussy to Kapiolani Park in the moring, the Fiesta at Kaioplani Park from midmorning to late afternoon, and the Santacruzan at Kapiolani Park in the late afternoon. The Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce will be spearheading the Fiesta part of the event at Kapiolani Park.
