I was glad to be a part of the Filipino Jaycees while I was there in Honolulu. It is a highly energized and visible organization that helped me get to where I am today.
I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Christine FeBenito and Rodney Mendiola on the Membership Team. They have done an outstanding job!

Elections Process
Aloha Wonderful HFJCC Members!
Thank you to those who were able to attend June's GMM (General Membership Meeting). At that meeting, I touched on this year's elections process, as well as handed out nominations forms. Thank you to those who have submitted nominations thus far. Nominations will be accepted until June 15, 2008. After that date, I will be confirming with those nominated if they accept their nomination. And if nominated for more than one position, I will ask if they would like to run for more than one position, which is acceptable. Candidate speeches will be held at the July GMM, so please mark this date on your calendar. For the continued success of our organization, it is imperative that we fully partipate in this elections process, and elect those who have the desire to fulfill the mission and vision of the organization. If you are unable to make the July GMM, please check back to our website and we will have an option for online voting. We will announce the results of the 2009 HFJCC Board of Directors and Officers at the August GMM! It is always a great thing to plan for the future. And thank you to this year's Board guided by President Eric Barsatan, we will for the first time have the following year's Board elected early so as to be able to allow them ample time to plan for the year, before their actual year begins.
