Oktoberfest at the Ala Moana Hotel is the longest running Oktoberfest in the island. This event is an international dine out.
Authentic German dishes, cowbells, polka and plenty of beer will usher in Hawaii's largest and longest-running Oktoberfest Oct. 7-12 at the Ala Moana Hotel. What started as a modest gathering has evolved into a celebration for thousands of people seeking a Bavarian experience in the middle of the Pacific.
Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce is participating in the Hawaii State Jaycees Adopt-a-School Program. Our program is A "Free Boost" of Confidence for High School ESL students. The program consists of free workshops and motivational speakers. The workshops cover resume building, business etiquette, and mock interviews. This program strives to give the students a confidence boost while motivating them to embrace their culture.
The Hawaii Junior Chamber annually selects and honors Three Outstanding Young Persons from Hawaii. Each honoree will be recognized in our community and is awarded a “Touching Hands” plaque symbolic of their work to challenge, motivate, and inspire Hawaii's youth. The most outstanding honoree's resume will then be judged for the Ten Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA) by the U.S.J.C.C.
All applications must be postmarked by August 15, 2008.
